Light Up Crofton 2025: Join the Community for a Night of Winter Glow
One of Crofton’s most beloved traditions is returning for its 6th year — Light Up Crofton 2025, proudly organized by BSA Scout Troop 758. On Sunday, December 14th, families across the community will come together to line their homes, walkways, and neighborhood entrances with glowing luminaries, creating a beautiful winter scene for everyone to enjoy.

❄️ Be Part of a Heartwarming Community Tradition
This event invites Crofton residents to place candle-lit luminaries outside their homes at 5:30 PM, turning our neighborhoods into a warm, welcoming display of light. Each kit includes everything needed to participate, making it simple for families to join in and help illuminate the community.
🕯️ What Comes in a Luminary Kit?
Each kit includes supplies for 10 luminaries, including:
10 white bags
2" votive candles
Sand
Easy-to-follow setup instructions
Families can place luminaries along curbs, driveways, stairs, and walkways to help create a bright and festive atmosphere throughout Crofton.

You can also make a donation to have Scouts place luminaries in public areas such as neighborhood entrances and shared spaces.
