It’s a great local resource for anyone getting their yard or garden ready for fall.

🌿 FarmUnity Harvest Festival

Celebrate the end of another growing season at the FarmUnity Harvest Festival.

Held by the Crofton Library Garden, this family-friendly event celebrates the work of FarmUnity volunteers throughout the season.

Visitors can sample vegetables grown in the community garden, enjoy a potluck provided by volunteers, participate in games, and spend an evening connecting with the community.

The event is designed for all ages, making it a fun local outing for the whole family.

🍂 Fall Festival on the Green

One of Crofton’s big September community events is back!

The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce Festival on the Green takes place at the Crofton Country Club and brings the community together for a day out in Crofton.

Even better, Crofton’s Annual Dog Show and Dog Pie Eating Contest will be happening in conjunction with the festival.

🐶 Crofton Annual Dog Show & Dog Pie Eating Contest

Dog Show Begins: 11:30 AM
Location: Crofton Country Club

Dog lovers won’t want to miss this one!

The 11th Annual Crofton Dog Show and Dog Pie Eating Contest, sponsored by the Crofton Civic Association, will take place alongside the Festival on the Green.

Dogs can compete in fun categories including:

• Best of Show

• Most Tricks

• Most Original Trick

• Best Costume

• Pet and Owner Look-Alike

• Simon Says

There will also be a dog pie-eating contest, with separate categories based on the size of the dog.

It’s a fun, family-friendly Crofton tradition and a great way to spend a September Saturday with the community.
